About Us

We are a Maryland-based homeschool group that uses classical models to equip our children with foundational knowledge in STEM, art, history, and literature. Most importantly, we guide them to develop Christ-like characters and to live according to God's Word.

Head Teacher

Dr. Joyce Lau received her doctorate degree in biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. With a passion in teaching, she started homeschooling when her son entered 2nd grade, and has been tutoring IEW and classical conversation classes for several years in the community. Dr. Lau also serves as the children ministry deacon in her church, teaching sunday schools and responsible for school administration. She homeschools her two children and enjoys reading and gardening.
